Flat Stanley took a trip to Duck, NC after his visit to Richmond, VA. He was hoping for some warmer weather and he sure got it. Stanley saw the beach, the ocean and the sand dunes. He wanted to take a swim in the Atlantic Ocean but it was still too cold. The horse statues that Stanley visit
ed commemorate the first airplane flight in nearby Kitty Hawk, NC as well as the wild horses that used to live in the area. A few can still be seen further north on the beach but Stanley didn't see any this visit. He had a great time!
